HighRes® and Cenevo Announce Co-Marketing Partnership to Accelerate the Agentic Connected Lab

HighRes and Cenevo partner to enhance laboratory automation, integrating Cellario OS and Mosaic for seamless workflows in life sciences. Discover more about their innovative solution.

The companies’ integrated Cellario OS™ and Mosaic platforms, already deployed by 5 of the top 10 global pharma companies, eliminate manual workflow handoffs, improve traceability and create the infrastructure foundation for agentic laboratory automation.

BEVERLY, Mass. and LONDON, UK — 15th June 2026 — HighRes®, a leading provider of laboratory automation and orchestration software, and Cenevo, the specialist in enabling agentic, connected labs and company behind Mosaic, today announced a co-marketing partnership focused on accelerating adoption of connected, AI-ready laboratory infrastructure across the life sciences industry.

The partnership brings together HighRes’ Cellario OS orchestration platform and Cenevo’s Mosaic sample management software to help laboratories coordinate complex workflows across instruments, applications, and data systems with greater reliability and traceability. The integrated solution is already deployed by 5 of the world’s top 10 pharmaceutical companies.

Modern life science laboratories face mounting pressure to manage increasingly complex samples across dozens of instruments and software systems from different vendors. Each handover between systems introduces risk: manual transcription errors, broken data trails, and compliance gaps. As compound libraries grow and modalities multiply, the cost of these inefficiencies increases dramatically.

Together, Cellario OS and Mosaic address these challenges by creating a seamlessly connected layer across instruments and data, the foundation that makes agentic AI in the lab both practical and safe. Mosaic’s Machine Fulfillment module communicates with Cellario OS before a run begins, passing all order parameters, input and output labware, and transfer specifications upfront. Cellario then orchestrates execution across instruments, from standalone liquid handlers to fully modular Nucleus® systems, tracking transfers in real time and feeding results back to Mosaic for full traceability. The result is a hardware-agnostic, resilient workflow where data flows without manual intervention, and where AI agents can operate on trusted, structured information.

Together, the integrated solution delivers:

  • Resilience by design — all transfer data is provided upfront and tracked in real time, so runs continue uninterrupted through network or system disruptions.
  • Hardware-agnostic execution — jobs are specified independently of liquid handler, supporting parallel processing across multiple instruments and intelligent planning of resources.
  • Intelligent automation — Cellario templates are automatically selected and refined per job, reducing protocol maintenance burden.
  • Compliance-ready traceability — sample tracking, transfer logging, and instrument data flow back to Mosaic for full regulatory record-keeping.
  • Future-proof architecture — a loosely coupled design that supports emerging capabilities, including agentic interfaces such as the Cellario Lab Assistant™ communicating with Mosaic via MCP.

A SHARED VISION FOR THE CONNECTED LAB

The partnership between HighRes and Cenevo reflects a shared belief that the future of life science depends on labs that are not just automated, but truly connected. Cenevo’s Mosaic is the operational backbone of some of the world's most complex laboratories, managing samples, workflows, inventory and compliance across +150 device and system integrations. HighRes' Cellario OS provides the instrument orchestration layer that makes high-throughput automation reliable and reproducible at scale. Together, they give joint customers something neither can offer alone: a seamlessly connected operating environment where data flows without interruption, scientists stay focused on science, and the infrastructure is ready for the agentic lab of the future.
